…oh who the hell am I kidding. Joe Lieberman is a whiny, arrogant, spoiled, passive-aggressive douche bag. From hell. He had absolutely no respect for the implicit contract that is a caucus, and he is continuing to act as he always has, and along with the end of his candidacy’s very apt name: “Connecticut for Lieberman.”
However… he is not having a crisis of conscience, and in no way is a Jim Jeffords. Lieberman can get more for Lieberman by staying right where he is: almost out of the Democratic party.
The once and future Wonkette doesn’t think he has the cajones to switch (or take a noble position), and also links to ten times Lieberman has pledged to stay Democratic (for what that’s worth beyond amusement value).
To sum up: Just like I said before: I say he could switch, but I don’t believe it’s likely before 2008, and it wouldn’t change the balance of power much before then anyway.

I would like to see him ducking stool’d in a tank full of live and very angry lobsters. I don’t suppose there’s a party platform for that. I’d switch.
