So PZ put up a post about a Sinfest comic with a rather vague message (I suppose we’ll have to wait for the topic to accumulate more comics to find out, but my take here if you’re curious).
The reason it caught my eye is this reaction by Squirrel/WoolyBumblebee to this comment by PZ.
Now I’m sorry for making you click through all that (if you did, otherwise I’m not sorry :D), but these posts are so short that excerpting them is impossible without lifting them all in their entirety, and it’s late.
The point is that even though it’s a lot more in my nature to criticize PZ than support him*, in this case PZ seems to be criticizing people based on an action (outraged dudes who send him angry mail) and Squirrel seems to be interpreting that as a general criticism of all men.
My reaction to her post:

Based on what I’ve seen of Squirrel (admittedly, and thankfully, little), expecting good reading comprehension from her is unwarranted.
