Right. So sexual harassment at the conferences where people meet from all over the world to attach faces, names, behaviors, and near-indelible emotional impressions about people they have been working with (and will be working with over the Internet if we want to keep any kind of cohesive dialogue going)…. is a non-issue.

I can’t see why anyone is surprised by this. Thunderf00t has a long history of fighting strawmen and being a social regressive who can’t understand issues that don’t directly affect him.
I’m not surprised, just amazed at how he never fails to exceed my expectations for stupid. ^.^
With Tf00t, his public position on any issue can usually be determined by looking at what brings him the most attention while causing him the least personal inconvenience. I don’t pretend to know what he actually thinks about anything, nor do I think I’ll ever find out. I just hope it’s more thought-out than what he puts on his blog and YouTube channel.
